Whilst close to half of Pakistan’s population use Mobile
Phones frequently, very few take the necessary precautions
to prevent damages. According to various studies, your
Mobile Phone is in constant danger from dirt and moisture.
We would like to brief you a few easy ways to protect your
Mobile Phone from some potential damages:
|
|
1) |
Protect your Mobile Phone from Moisture: |
|
|
|
|
|
|
-
Keep your

liquids or moisture can contain minerals that rust
electronic circuits. Liquid enters your device in many ways,
for example:
|
|
|
|
|
|
-
Do not keep
the Mobile Phone in cold areas (e.g. near Air Conditioners).
When it’s taken back to its normal temperature, moisture can
form inside the device.
-
Avoid painting
your Mobile Phones; it can block moving parts of your
device.
-
Use of elfy,
glue or any kind of gum stick etc. could also damage the
moving parts.
-
Try to avoid
using your Mobile Phone in wet areas; in the washrooms, near
at wash basins or in the kitchens etc, as it will cause the
battery to explode.
|
|
2) |
Protect your Mobile Phone from Physical
Damages:
|
|
|
|
|
|
|
-
Avoid
dropping, knocking or shaking your Mobile Phone severely.
Such actions may harm the internal circuit boards of the
phone.
-
Do not use or
keep the device in dusty or dirty areas. This can lead to
severe damages in moving parts & electronic circuits of your
Mobile Phone.
-
Only use a
soft, clean and dry cloth to clean any lenses such as camera
and light sensor lenses.
-
Never attempt
to disassemble the Mobile Phone or insert any external
accessories other than instructed on phone box, (e.g. Phone
Charger, Memory Card or SIM Card). Follow directions as
mentioned in the manual guide of your Mobile Phones to
insert external accessories.
-
Do not put
your Mobile Phone on your car’s dash board for a longer
period of time because direct sunlight exposure can damage
its LCD.
-
Protect your
Mobile Phone from excessive pressures e.g. jeans pockets
etc. It may damage LCD pixels or bend your Mobile Phone
board.
-
Avoid using
non-genuine accessories.
